During his Easter holidays Frank swam 140 lengths (of 25m) at his local pool to raise money just like Captain Tom did to helps lots of people. Frank said he liked Captain Tom’s quote when he said “The first step is always the hardest, but unless you take that first step, you’ll never finish” and “you can do and be anything you want”.
Frank smashed his fundraising target, and raised an amazing £605.00 to help us continue our work looking after our patients in our Hospice and at home in the community.
Thank you to everyone who helped me raise funds for Macmillan Caring Locally. I never thought I’d get past my goal. Thank you for my medal, I am looking forward to meeting a Nurse to find out the difference my fundraising makes. Frank.
We were thrilled to have Frank as one of our youngest fundraisers, and as we couldn’t meet up due to current restrictions, we sent Frank his medal, a poster and some goodies, and had a ‘Teams” call with him, his Mum and our Lead Nurse Louise, so we could thank him personally and explain the difference his fundraising makes.

Well done Frank!
